Fesperman's Beef Jerky, Inc. has been in business since 1997. It is owned and operated by Curtis and Lynn Fesperman.

Lynn, who loves beef jerky and was not satisfied with what she could buy at the store, bought a dehydrator from her stepfather's mother for $25 and decided to make her own beef jerky. After experimenting with different recipes for a marinade, she finally hit on one that satisfied her taste. Curtis started giving beef jerky to fellow workers and friends and they all encouraged the couple to start selling their product. In the fall of 1996, Curtis and a friend started construction on a building that complied with USDA specifications. The couple started production in February of 1997.

With the help of family, especially their wonderful mothers, they have been able to establish a very dedicated customer base. Fesperman's Beef Jerky is promoted as a gourmet beef jerky. It is made with one of the leanest cuts of meat and the marinade is made with quality ingredients. Nothing has changed in the product since Lynn started making it in her kitchen other than the fact that she makes quite a bit more than she did back then.

The couple sell their product at fairs, gun shows and craft shows. They have shipped beef jerky all across the United States and to our service men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan.
